"THERE IS NO GREATER AGONY THAN BEARING AN UNTOLD STORY INSIDE YOU.” — Maya Angelou.
Engaging in therapy is a profound act of bravery and self-love. Whether you are taking your very first step or continuing past progress, you deserve a space where you can let your guard down and feel completely seen, heard, and supported. My approach is deeply collaborative: you bring the expertise on your own life, and I bring the clinical tools to help you heal and grow.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Washington and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the City University of Seattle. Rooted in this training, my practice is tailored to support adolescents (ages 13 and up) and adults navigating the heavy weight of trauma, grief, or relationship distress, as well as major life transitions—such as navigating a divorce, adjusting to an empty nest, or exploring deep identity shifts.
By blending a strengths-based, holistic framework with cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative techniques, and mindfulness, we will look at your life through both a personal and a broader systems-based lens. I am committed to working with clients from all cultural backgrounds, practicing firmly through an inclusive, social justice framework. No matter where you are starting from, you can write the rest of your story, and you do not have to carry it all alone.
What to expect in our sessions:
• 🌱 Collaborative Partnership: We shape therapy entirely around your unique goals, values, and pace.
• 🧭 Gentle Directness: I promise an honest, active presence. We will kindly but directly explore patterns that no longer serve you.
• 🛡️ Inclusive Safety: A firmly grounded, social-justice-focused space where you can speak openly without fear of judgment.
Outside of the therapy room, I restore my own energy by getting out into nature, whether I'm hiking, paddleboarding, or exploring new cultures through international travel. Most of all, I cherish quality time spent grounding myself alongside my loved ones.
